Collinsville Stud Merinos is seeking a skilled part time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.

Collinsville Stud Merinos Bookkeeper
Part time: 1 day per week 
Location: Kadlunga, Mintaro South Australia (with remote working arrangements to be negotiated)

Join a South Australian farming business with a rich history of agricultural excellence. Collinsville is a leading Merino genetic supplier in Australia. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with the external finance team and management to support decision-making and facilitate smooth financial operations. Further opportunities could be available to the right candidate within the owner’s other enterprises that would increase days worked a week. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
• Generate financial reports for management review.
• Assist with OHS compliance via Safe Ag systems
• Manage other compliance schemes for Collinsville.
• Process payroll and maintain employee records.
• Assist with BAS and IAS
• Collaborate with external accountants.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software XERO and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the agriculture industry is a plus.
