COLLINSVILLE 2022 ON PROPERTY SALE REPORT

We offered and sold 300 Merino and Poll Merino rams to a top of $48,000 at Lot 1, a Merino ram purchased by Kolindale Stud, WA through Brooks Merino Services.

44 Collinsville Specialty Selected Stud Sires sold at an average of $9,911.
Lot 2 sold for $32,000 to Olinda Stud, WA.
Lot 3 sold for $28,000 to Darriwell, NSW.
Lot 8 sold for $26,000 to Collandra North, SA.
Lot 10 sold for $34,000 to Rices Creek, SA.

256 out of 256 commercial rams were also offered and sold to a top of $4,600 averaging $1,934 providing plenty of value for our commercial buyers.

Stock Journal Sale Summary:

There was a massive day of selling at Collinsville, Hallett, as 300 May/June 2021-drop rams sold under the hammer on Tuesday.

The sale started strong with Lot 1 attracting the top price of the day at $48,000.

Bidding was carried out by Tony Brooks, Brooks Merino Services, on behalf of the Ledwith family, Kolindale stud, Duninin, WA.

The $48,000 Collinsville Emperor 351 son, Collinsville Duke 174021, weighed 124 kilograms, with a 44-millimetre eye muscle and 7mm fat depth as well as a 19.4-micron fleece with 2.7 standard deviation, 19.6 coefficient of variation, 99 per cent comfort factor and a greasy fleece weight of 142pc.

The top price Poll Merino ram was the sale was Lot 10, an ET-bred CV Imperial 180615 son, bought at $34,000 by Rices Creek stud, Saddleworth and Tintinara.

The 120kg ram, with a 45EMD and 10mm fat depth, had a 20.7M fleece had 2.6SD, 12.7CV, 99.9CF and 115GFW.

Lot 2, a CV Imperial 170521 son, made $32,000 to Olinda stud, Wyalkatchem, WA.

It weighed 132kg with a 47EMD and 7mm fat depth and a 19.2M fleece with 3.8SD, 14.1CV, 99.8CF and 138GFW.

In all, 44 stud rams sold for a $9911 average while 256 flock rams averaged $1934.

The day also had the private sale of two stud reserve rams.

A May 2021-drop Collinsville Regal 763 son sold for $60,000 to the Buttons, Manunda stud, Tammin, WA, while a Collinsville Emperor 351 son made $50,000 to the Kerse family, Cramphorne, Muntadgin, WA.
