Conditions Become Hardier on Hallett
  • Post published:18 November 2019

Conditions are becoming hardier on the Collinsville Hallett property as the season starts to heat up.

Our long history on the tough country of mid-north SA means any sheep not able to walk great distances for water has simply been eliminated from the gene pool. Raised on hard land, Collinsville sheep have had no choice but to thrive in unfavourable conditions.

Are you seeking sheep that perform in dry and harsh conditions?

The Collinsville bloodline can be traced from a hardy foundation flock in 1889 to the unmatched animal we see today: Poll Merinos and Merinos boasting a large frame, high fertility, and a high yielding fleece of heavy cutting 20.5 micron wool.
